More information
Brewed to the same recipe as our award winning Traditional Mead but using Organic Zambian Forest honey instead of honey from the Wye Valley. The honey for this mead comes from forests in North Western Zambia, it is unlike anything you'd find in the UK, almost black and has a distinct earthy herbal taste. This has resulted in a unique tasting mead which carries complex herbal and spiced notes.
As well as supporting beekeepers in Zambia by purchasing the honey, ten percent of profits from sales of the new mead will be donated to Bees for Development by Hive Mind. See more about Bees For Development here: www.beesfordevelopment.org
