What is mead?
One of the oldest alcoholic drinks, mead is made from 3 core ingredients: honey, water and yeast. Depending on the honey used and fermentation time, mead can range from sweet to dry, and from light to full-bodied. Fruit, spices and other alcohol can also be combined during the brewing process to create a variety of different flavours.
