Ever fancied making your own mead? Now’s your chance! Join us at Hive Mind HQ for an afternoon of mead making, tasting, and a deep dive into the world’s oldest alcoholic drink.
What’s included:
✨ A hands-on mead-making session. You’ll make 4.5 litres of your own mead to take home
✨ A guided tasting of a wide range of meads (yes, plenty of them!)
✨ Learn the history, traditions, and modern twists of mead-making
✨ Casual Q&A and good conversation with fellow mead fans
✨ Stay on for a drink in our taproom afterwards!

Whether you’re new to brewing or just a mead enthusiast looking for a fun, flavour-filled afternoon, this makes a brilliant experience or a unique gift for someone who’s got everything (except mead).
The course will start around 13:00. If you'd like to arrive earlier there is a wonderful castle (Caldicot Castle) very close to the meadery. Come and park in the car park by the meadery and walk over (3 minute walk).
