Built on a love for beekeeping, we use honey as the core ingredient in everything we make, be(e) that a traditional 14.5% mead, a 3.4% sparkling mead or honey beer and spirits.

As the days grow colder, our Mulled Mead is the perfect way to unwind. A smooth, 6% honey wine infused with warming spices like cinnamon, cassia, and cloves. Its natural sweetness and subtle spice create a comforting balance that’s just as satisfying gently heated as it is served chilled. Hive Mind Mead & Brew Co began life as Wye Valley Meadery and was started in 2018 by brothers Matt and Kit Newell. Based in the beautiful Welsh borders, our bees gather honey from a special region giving a unique but varied terroir to our mead.
With a whole host of Great Taste awards, including the Golden Fork For Wales, our products have proven to be some of the best in the country.
Without bees, our entire ecosystem would be in jeopardy so it is our mission to help protect them and all pollinators, through education, ethical sustainable beekeeping, and highlighting their work through our delicious range of mead.
