Food & drink writer, broadcaster, event host, and expert cocktail maker Andy Clarke has created a delicious meady twist on the classic Bees Knees cocktail. 

It's quite punchy, so there's the option to add some soda water if you fancy a long drink!

"Bees Mead"

  • A handful of ice
  • 2 parts (100ml) gin
  • 3 parts (150ml) mead
  • 1 part (50ml) lemon juice
  • Optional, add soda water to make it into a long drink
  • Lemon peel ringlet garnish

(Makes 2 servings) 

Build in the glass, and stir (with a honey stirrer of course!)
