A fantastic way to drink our delicious range of sparkling meads is by combining them with your other favourite flavours to create fabulous sparkling mead cocktails! 

We’ve tried a lot of different combinations, but nothing has come close to those created by the team at The Clockwork Rose in Bristol, sadly now closed down - but you can recreate these at home

The mixologists at the Clockwork Rose have been kind enough to pass on some sparkling mead cocktail recipes to us..

May we present to you:

THE RHUBARB CRUMBLE

In a tall glass, add 25ml of VSOP Brandy/Cognac, 50ml of apple juice and a squeeze of lemon juice. Then fill the glass halfway with ice and top with our Honey and Rhubarb sparkling mead.

Ingredients & proportions:

25ml VSOP Brandy/Cognac

50ml apple juice

Lemon wedge

Wye Valley Meadery: Honey & Rhubarb Sparkling Mead

 

GARDEN IN THE VALLEY

Also in a tall glass, add sugar syrup, cucumber bitter and gin and squeeze in the juice of half a lemon. Fill the glass halfway with ice and top with our Honey & Elderflower Sparkling Mead. If you’re feeling fancy or hoping to impress, garnish with a slice of fresh cucumber. 

Ingredients & proportions:

40ml Gin

10ml Sugar Syrup

1⁄2 a lemon

1 dash Cucumber Bitters

Wye Valley Meadery: Honey & Elderflower Mead

 

BUSSLEY'S BREW

Add whisky, ginger liqueur, aqua faba and juice of half a lemon to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain the liquid into a tankard glass, fill halfway with ice and top with our Honey & Hops Sparkling Mead.

Ingredients & proportions:

50ml Islay Whisky

25ml Ginger Liqueur

1⁄2 a lemon

25ml Aqua Faba
